Escape was launched in October 2004 by Sam and Gaenor, who decided to “escape” their hectic lifestyles after the birth of their daughter Grace, to open Llandudno’s first Boutique B&B.
The grand Victorian villa was transformed from 5 flats into “one of the UK’s coolest B&B’s” according to The Times. Now in it’s 21st year, it is still Llandudno’s premier place to stay for those wanting a unique, sexy, fun & quirky “escape”. Escape has welcomed many VIP’s including The Alarm and TV stars such as Jonny Vegas & Janet Street Porter.

Escape Boutique B&B is nestled between the North and West shores of Llandudno at the foot of the Great Orme. Our location provides a relaxing retreat from the centre of town, whilst being a convenient 5 -10 minute walk from everything Llandudno has to offer. We are situated along Church Walks, which runs from the pier, past many wonderful pubs and restaurants and the Great Orme Tramway before reaching us tucked between many beautiful Victorian villas and houses. Being so close to the Great Orme, Escape is a wonderful base for exploring areas of town that some visitors might miss such as Invalids Walk, and our garden can also be a frequent stop on the Great Orme Goats' trips into town!
Sam & Gaenor’s daughter Grace, after achieving a First Class Honours in her Undergraduate Degree in Events Management is now Escape’s General Manager.
The team at Escape is a small and close knit one, which alongside Sam, Gaenor & Grace includes Vanessa & Mel. These two wonderful ladies have both been with us for over 10 years! Their main duties are in the kitchen, waitressing & housekeeping, but they are happy to help with anything with their extensive local knowledge.
