Bookings are free to cancel up until 7 days prior to arrival. Please note that if you cancel your booking with less than 7 days notice, a cancellation fee of £50 per room, per night booked applies. If a booking is cancelled within 24 hours of due arrival, the reservation is charged in full.

Booking & Check-In
What is your cancellation policy?
Do you require a deposit to book a room?
No deposits are required when booking. Group bookings of 5 rooms or more may be required to pay a deposit 10 days prior to arrival.
Is Escape pet friendly?
Escape Boutique B&B is a pet free accommodation.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in time on your day of arrival is 2pm.
Check-out time on your day of departure is 11am.
Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?
Our check-in time on your day of arrival is 2pm. Please get in touch if you require an early check-in, and we will accommodate when possible.
Late check-out after 11am is unavailable.
Do you offer 24 hour check-in?
We do not offer 24 hour check-in. Our usual check-in hours are 2-10pm. We ask that guests please inform us if they are due to arrive between 10pm - 12am. Check-in is not available after midnight.

How do I pick my room?
Our rooms are as individual are you are. Browse through each room to find the one that suits your style and needs to ensure ultimate comfort. Some of your questions may be answered here in our FAQ's, but feel free to get in touch should you need a little more help selecting your escape! Remember, the only way to reserve a specific room is to book direct with us.
Are all rooms en-suite?
All rooms are en-suite. Please refer to each room to check whether they feature a shower or bath.
Do you provide Wi-Fi?
Free guest Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the B&B.
Do the rooms have TV and streaming services?
All rooms have a TV. Smart TV's with streaming services can be found in rooms 1 & 3. All other rooms have Freeview TV channels.
Are there any ground floor rooms?
We have no rooms at ground floor. All rooms are at first or second storey level. Please refer to our accessibility information below for more details.
Are hairdryers & toiletries provided?
All rooms have a hairdryer and luxury Elemis toiletries.
Are there fridges in the rooms?
We do not have fridges in our rooms.
Do you have any family rooms?
We have no family rooms. All of our rooms are maximum double occupancy. We accept children over 10 years of age, accompanied in a room by a person aged above 15. We can allocate neighbouring rooms to families where possible.
Do you have any twin bedded rooms?
Room number 4 'Coastal' can be made into a twin room.
What size are the beds?

Food & Drink
What kind of breakfast do you serve?
Breakfast is table service. Whether you prefer a continental selection of pastries, fruits, our popular luxury layered muesli, a hot, cooked-to-order dish, such a porridge or our delicious full breakfast, our breakfasts are crafted with care and are sure to set you up for the day.
What time is breakfast?
Breakfast is served from 08:30am - 10:00am everyday.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
We accommodate all diets. It is best to inform us in advance of any dietary requirements so that we are best prepared to deliver you an excellent breakfast.
Do you offer room service?
Room service is not available.
Do you provide evening meals?
Escape Boutique B&B is breakfast only. We are happy to recommend a broad range of restaurants within walking distance for evening meals.
Do you have a bar?
We do not have a manned bar. We instead have a small honesty bar located in our guest lounge, allowing guests to help themselves to a small range of alcoholic and soft drinks, as-well as a limited selection of snacks, completely at their leisure 24 hours a day. Any selections are noted down by guests at the time of consumption, and bills are settled with us on check-out.
Do you offer an in-room hospitality tray?
Every room is equipped with a hospitality tray providing the following items
- Traditional breakfast, green, peppermint, earl grey & decaffeinated tea bags
- Caffeinated and decaffeinated instant coffee
- Hot chocolate sachets
- Two packets of biscuits
- White & brown sugar
- Sweeteners
- Milk
Accessibility
The hotel car park is at the front of the building with directions as follows. Follow signs for the seafront & head towards the pier, keeping the sea on your right & hotels on your left. At the ‘give way’ sign turn right. At the mini roundabout turn left into Church Walks. The B&B can be found approximately 500 metres down Church Walks. Carry on past the Tram Station, until you see us on the right. We are at number 48, with an ‘Escape’ sign at street level.
Please note that unfortunately Escape does not have wheelchair access, and is not suited to guests with limited mobility due to the age and layout of our Victorian property. Access to the B&B from the car park is via an upward sloping pathway of 20 metres leading to 7 steps, a level walkway of some 15 metres, a further 7 steps, a turn & a final 7 further steps.
The main entrance takes you into the hallway. Take one step up & turn left into the guest lounge & dining room which are on the ground level.
There are no bedrooms at ground floor level & no lift.
All bedrooms are at first & second storey level.
Access to the first floor is via 13 steps to a landing & then an additional 5 steps to the first floor. To the second floor there are an additional 8 steps to a small landing & then a further 8 steps. There is no lift available.
A porterage service is available for luggage.
