The travel section of the Guardian ran a very complimentary review of Llandudno. It marvelled at the unspoilt Victorian charm of the resort but also goes on to say “among the Punch & Judy shows and bandstands, there are definite signs of modern life. There are a few excellent eateries, like the Fat Cat Cafe, part of a very cool northern chain. The escape B&B is a contemporary boutique-style pad and as modern and classy as you could possibly desire(no children allowed, very appealing idea).

Concept For Living is the premier Home & garden magazine for the North. Escape is featured in the July edition on page 113 in a feature called “It’s Glam Up North” which highlights three chic one-off places to stay in the North Of England.

May 2005’s edition of the Sunday Times Travel Magazine features the Escape in it’s “Fawltless Towers” Six of the best section.
